We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

2. What information we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address — so we can contact you about Forvida.
- Your beta-tester preference — whether you ticked the box asking to be considered as an early beta tester.
When you visit the Website, we may also automatically collect limited technical information for analytics purposes, such as your approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address), the pages you view, and general device and browser information.
We do not collect any special category data (such as health, religious, or political information) through the Website.

You can withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" and "Unsubscribing" below). Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool ([Plausible / Cloudflare Web Analytics]) to understand how the Website is used — for example, how many people visit and which pages are most popular. We chose this tool specifically because it minimises the data collected about you and does not track you across other websites.
If this tool uses any cookies, they are first-party cookies used solely for statistical and performance purposes. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, such cookies do not require your prior opt-in consent; you can nonetheless opt out at any time through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will ask for it through a cookie banner and update this policy.
5. Who we share your information with
We use a small number of trusted third-party providers ("processors") who process your information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK (for example, in the United States). Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.
7. How long we keep your information

Unsubscribing: every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it withdraws your consent and stops any further emails.

11. Children
The Website and waitlist are intended for adults and are not directed at children under [16 / 18]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
