Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how [Your name, trading as Forvida โ€” or Forvida Ltd once incorporated] ("Forvida", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit forvida.app (the "Website") and join our waitlist or register interest as a beta tester.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

This policy covers the Forvida website and waitlist only. When the Forvida app launches it will process additional and more sensitive information, and will be accompanied by its own, expanded privacy policy.

1. Who we are

[Your name, trading as Forvida โ€” or Forvida Ltd, company number โ—, registered address โ—] is the "data controller" responsible for your personal information.

Contact: privacy@forvida.app

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at the address above.

2. What information we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

When you visit the Website, we may also automatically collect limited technical information for analytics purposes, such as your approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address), the pages you view, and general device and browser information.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool ([Plausible / Cloudflare Web Analytics]) to understand how the Website is used โ€” for example, how many people visit and which pages are most popular. We chose this tool specifically because it minimises the data collected about you and does not track you across other websites.

If this tool uses any cookies, they are first-party cookies used solely for statistical and performance purposes. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, such cookies do not require your prior opt-in consent; you can nonetheless opt out at any time through your browser settings.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will ask for it through a cookie banner and update this policy.

5. Who we share your information with

We use a small number of trusted third-party providers ("processors") who process your information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

6. International data transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK (for example, in the United States). Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Extension to the EUโ€“US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your waitlist information until [Forvida launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it โ€” whichever is sooner]. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your information promptly, except where we are required to keep it by law.

8. How we keep your information secure

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@forvida.app. We will respond within one month, and there is normally no charge.

Unsubscribing: every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it withdraws your consent and stops any further emails.

10. How to complain

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at privacy@forvida.app โ€” we take complaints seriously and will acknowledge and respond to them.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

11. Children

The Website and waitlist are intended for adults and are not directed at children under [16 / 18]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
